WIPPTREX training exercise

Following months of planning the City of Fort Worth, TX conducted a WIPPTREX training exercise at the Bob Bolen Public Safety Complex located in Fort Worth. Members of the Fort Worth Fire Department, along with Benbrook Fire Department responded to a simulated incident involving a WIPP transportation vehicle. These exercises give first responders valuable hands-on experience, practicing response techniques involving radiological shipments. The exercise was conducted over two days last month, to give multiple responders the opportunity to participate.
