The US Department of Energy and Nuclear Waste Partnership plan to conduct initial short duration testing of the 700-C ventilation fan.
Employee and community safety is DOE/NWP’s top priority and use of the 700-C underground ventilation fan will help maintain a safe, comfortable and efficient working environment for the workers at WIPP.
The Department and NWP will keep stakeholders and the community informed as it moves closer to the beginning of testing and potential restart.
